In this unforgettable presentation, Mr. Von Braun shares his brother’s story and the life-saving lessons he has learned from Oliver’s life & death. Students are empowered to be open and honest with their struggles, and are given the tools necessary to make positive change. Mr. Von Braun does not only tell an inspiring story, but teaches students practical strategies and coping mechanisms they can put to use in their daily lives. Each individual has a story playing in their mind. A story of who they are, where they are in life, and where they believe they are going. The presentation has been designed to interrupt that story, and to interject messages of resiliency, responsibility, and self-control. Every young person has potential for greatness, Mr. Von Braun’s mission is to remind them of that.

In this interactive presentation, Mr. Von Braun uses his life experience to educate parents on the issues that matter most...the well-being of their teens. Parents will learn how struggles with mental health issues and drug addiction can shape an individual’s mindset, and practical strategies that can be put in place to help overcome these struggles.
Mr. Von Braun discusses breaking down communication barriers, establishing an open and honest dialogue, and the warning signs to be aware of. Parents leave knowing they have the power to help their teens take control of their story and their life.

Roger Von Braun is a teacher & Suicide Prevention Advocate. The tragic loss of his brother has led him from teaching lessons in the classroom, to delivering his message from the stage. He has committed himself to teaching young people how to navigate some of life's darkest moments.
Using his teaching experience and his Masters Degree in Education, Mr. Von Braun has developed an interactive presentation that is sure to leave a lasting impression on any audience. His unique ability to connect with students, combined with his authentic portrayal of mental health issues, will inspire and empower your young people to live a life of purpose. The message is critical, and the results can be life changing.
